Game 4 | Game 4 Outline |
The Doctor goes to his desk and sits down. He begins to flip randomly through your packet of information. "Everything appears to be in order." He stands up, taking the papers to a file cabinet nearby as he flips the pages. Suddenly, he stops. "Oh! This won't do! Didn't you get our mail?"
"No, sir", you answer nervously. "What was it about?"
"During the week that your mother was signing forms, you were supposed to be taking some classes to prepare yourself, to help you understand what we do here at Solecore Industries. Well have to send you out this week." Obviously annoyed, the Doctor walks over to his desk. Rummaging around in the clutter, he shuffles some papers to one side, revealing an intercom. "Dr. Maroo, come here, please." As soon as his assistant arrives, he declares imperiously, "Dr. Maroo, I want this boy put through the Training before I see him next!"
As you walk to her car, you ask Dr. Maroo, "What was his problem?"
"Oh, well, Dr. Hamilton doesnt like having to explain everything," she answers with a weak grin, "so he insists that everyone to work with him goes though this Training course."
"He said that I was supposed to start last week; wont I be behind everyone else?"
"Oh dont worry, you'll only be behind one week. The remaining three weeks should be enough." She stops the car. "One more thing. Dr. Hamilton gave me this note that says he wants you to look and listen. You dont have to participate unless you feel threatened."
"Threatened?", you ask, barely able to conceal the understandable anxiety beneath the surface.
"Dont worry", she smiles back at you. "Everything will be explained." With that, you know its going to be a long three weeks.
