What to do?

"Is something wrong?" asks Maroo.

"Yes, something is wrong!" you continue to shriek at the top of your lungs, "I'm a guy! Boy! Male! I'm not supposed to be a girl!"

Dr. Maroo takes a step back, startled by this development. "Oh no...I never dreamed something like this would happen...the Formyphyric Elemopsia must have completely feminized your body...this is horrible, terrible!"

You try to assess the damage from your limited perspective. Looking over your body, the unfamiliar protrusions from your chest stick out the most. It is also clear that your hair has grown out to shoulder length, and you are missing something between your legs. Definately not a boy. You have an urge to go to a mirror, but there are none in the room.

Dr. Maroo is pacing and muttering to herself, certain profanities about Ray sticking out particularly. Eventually she gathers herself and looks at you.

"Looking at you," she begins, "I would have no idea that you were once male. I'm assuming you'd like to get back to normal as soon as possible?"

You nod.

"Unfortunately, we know very little about Formyphyric Elemopsia. This is the first case I've heard of it having such an effect She trails off.

Was this what the testing was going to be about? you ask.

No, we were going to run a much more controlled test, on the line of what created Ray, but by now that method is much more refined, and we would be able to return you to your original form

Could we use that to change me back? Your higher, richer voice is slightly unnerving to you.

We could, Maroo says, but its not the best option. The Formyphyric Elemopsia may drastically change how the device operates. Besides, we dont have the specifics of the previouser, male form on file. You could try to masquerade as a girl while we try to figure out how to reverse the effects. Unfortunately, such research could take months, or even years. What do want to do about this is really your decision. As long as you dont yak about what happened

She trails off again, silent. What will you do? Waiting for them to figure out a cure would be possible, as luckily your parents wont be home for the summer. However, you arent sure youd like to bein this form for the months it might take.
